Cora was raised in Moab, Utah. She moved to Colorado after graduating high school, and now is a student at Colorado Mesa University. She has been on the back of a horse for longer than she has known how to walk. Growing up, she worked on a ranch as well as participated in rodeos all over the States. Away from the stables, Cora enjoys hiking, spoiling her dogs and going on spontaneous road-trips. Her passion for animals makes her one of our best wranglers.
"Maverick Mak" is our newest head wrangler. He is a true cowboy through and through. On Mak's days off, he likes to watch old western movies and act in Western Showdown skits. He can speak in almost every accent you can think of. Mak's favorite part about working at Rimrock Adventures is sharing the history of the land with new customers.
Mel has been trail riding since she was a young girl. When she moved away for college, she began taking English Style riding lessons from the internationally recognized royal lippizaner rider and trainer, Amanda Lacayo. Mel has also trained as a barrel racer and has worked on a ranches in North Dakota. It was on the ranch where she fell in love with the “real” cow girl work. Off of the saddle, Mel is recognized for her astounding athletic abilities. While attending college full time, she also managed to head the cheer leading squad. Mel is excited to share her passion for horses with new riders.
