Miranda Dillard
Office Assistant
Miranda grew up in Oklahoma and moved to Colorado in 2018. She is a recent graduate from Colorado Mesa University with a bachelors in psychology. When she isn’t off adventuring with friends or in the office, she works as a barista at Copeka Coffee creating beautiful latte art.

Lexi Sanchez
Office Assistant
Lexi is a born and raised local and stays busy working and adventuring with friends. On days off, she’s mostly up on the Mesa camping, fishing, and enjoying the view. When she isn’t up in the mountains, she’s sitting back and relaxing in a raft, soaking in the sun with her puppy Avalanche.

Sommer Baier
Office Assistant
Sommer grew up in Fruita with her family and loves spending time outdoors either snowboarding or near any body of water. She is family oriented and spends her days off playing with her nephew Baier. When she’s not out and about making people laugh, she’s in bed cuddling with her cat Dispatch.

Mystic Cardinal
Office Assistant
Mystic is a recent grautate and is now attending nursing school at Colorado Mesa University. She enjoys fishing, camping, and spending time with her year old kitty. Aside from the office, she has a summer internship as a medical assistant.

Scooter Hicks
Wrangler
Scooter is from Maybell and has been riding horses since she was 3 years old and barrel racing since 5. She loves riding horses during her free time and is a professional horse trainer. When she isn’t on a horse, she likes fishing, working on her truck, and she makes/sells wood burn art. During the winter, she’s hunting bobcats with her dogs, and builds taxidermy pedestals with her dad and brother. Overall, she’s ridiculously tough and has a heart of gold.

Alessia Castelanelli
Wrangler
Alessia is from Lungern, Switzerland and has been riding since she was 6 years old. It was a life long dream of hers to come to the U.S. and she took inspiration from her mom to make it happen before she goes to university in the fall of 2025 to become a veterinarian. She speaks three languages, and most importantly, she’s excited to be here and start a new chapter in life.

Laura Ladd
Office Assistant
Colorado born and raised, Laura splits her time between teaching bright little minds in kindergarten and working with the awesome team at Rimrock Adventures. When she’s not wrangling kids or planning adventures, you’ll probably find her soaking up the sunshine on her paddle board, jamming out to music, or spending time with her two awesome kids and the rest of her family. Also — full disclosure — she’s a total cat person. 🐾

Nick Jones
Guide
Nick grew up in Page, Arizona, and then attended high school in Phoenix. His life truly started when he moved to Talkeetna, Alaska where he spent five years boating on the Chulitna Susitna and Talkeetna rivers. He thoroughly enjoys white water rafting, duck hunting, fishing and going to concerts. He does these activities with his dogs Lord Bean Burrito (Beans) and Chloe.

Camden Adams
Guide
Cam enjoys almost everything outside from camping and rafting all summer, to snowboarding and making snow all winter. He has a history in teaching/coaching and was a collegiate pole vaulter. Cam is excited to continue exploring the outdoors on the water and off with his buddies (mostly Kade)

Kade Christian
Guide
During his free time, Kade likes to spend his time rock climbing, hiking and snowboarding. During the off season he works at Powderhorn operating ski lifts and making snow. When he isnt working or snowboarding, he’s on the Mesa camping, enjoying the view, and bird watching with his bestie Cam

Preston Folk
Guide
Preston is from Berks County, Pennsylvania , where he worked for his father’s concrete company until he moved out to Grand Junction. He started rafting the summer of ‘23 and has quickly fallen in love with the river. On his days off, he is typically out on the river perfecting his skills. During the winter season, you can find him on the mountain snowboarding.

Chase Rohde
Guide
Chase has been working at Rimrock for about 5 years, and he is our professional groover cleaner. Give him a big thanks! When Chase isn’t working, he is running. He aims to run about 60 miles a week and his next goal is 100 miles a week to prepare for upcoming marathons.

Benjamin Booth
Guide
Ben over the years has had many hobbies and jobs. He was in the Navy for 20 years, after that he spent his time working jobs that consisted of being outdoors. He lived in Crested Butte, and Lake Powell where he did harbor maintenance. He loves all the seasons the four corners have to offer, his hobbies include rafting, skiing, and camping (just anything outdoors), staying close to the water is always preferred.

Taylor Fruend
Guide
Taylor spends his winters skiing as much as he can, which includes skiing at over 20 resorts between Colorado and Utah. His summers are filled with many adventures, like hiking, fishing, backpacking, and of course exploring the wonders of Colorado with his young pup Avalanche.

Ellis Thompson
Guide
As a former middle school and college teacher, Ellis has lived in western Colorado for nearly a decade and loves everything outdoors from rafting to snowboarding, canyoneering, backpacking and camping. She’s a professional dog mom, organizer, small business owner, and adventure junkie.

Jerry Huerta
Guide
Jerry is the newest addition to the Rimrock family (this will be his first year guiding). He has done amazing at picking things up quickly and is excited to try something new. He loves all things outdoors and spends all the time he can adventuring with friends. Outside of rafting, he loves snowboarding and working up at Powderhorn as a lift operator.

Shana Wilson
Guide
Shana originally worked for Adventure Bound for 15 years but has been guiding for 20. She’s like the fun aunt that everyone loves to have around and makes everybody’s day brighter. You’ll know she’s around when you can hear her infectious laugh from a mile away.

DeWayne McMahand
Shuttle Driver
DeWayne worked at Intellitec College as an I.T. Tech for many years and has now been working for Rimrock for over a decade. He’s known to the other drivers as the “Road Captain”. He ensures everyday that customer’s vehicles get transported safely and efficiently. Give him a thanks!

Rob Tucker
Shuttle Driver
Rob is originally from California but has been living in Colorado for the last 15 years. He painted cars for 25 years and worked at the California Angels stadium for 10. In his 20s, Rob was a roadie for The Rolling Stones for a few years. When he isnt making the office girls and other shuttle drives laugh, he’s spending time with his amazing daughter.

Timm Parsons
Shuttle Driver
Timm’s main passion is living life and adventuring. He believes he is a land locked pirate and is apart of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) community. He’s talented in creativity and once built a tiny house. During his free time he enjoys fencing, jousting, and shooting his bow. Most importantly he’s a loving father and husband, and loves the outdoors and sports.

Shelly Baier
Owner
Shelly Baier is a native Coloradan that received her bachelor’s degree in outdoor recreation from Western State. Shelly grew up on her parent’s ranch in Collbran and has been in love with the outdoors ever since. She does everything with her golden retriever Gunni who is a natural on the river and enjoys accompanying Shelly to the office each day.

Travis Baier
Owner
Travis Baier grew up on a ranch and was lucky enough to experience the river at a young age. His early love of the river and desire to be a river guide empowered him, with some help from his father, to begin a rafting business. On his days off he enjoys spending time up at his cabin in the woods with his wife, daughters, and miniature schnauzer Waylon.
